Is it a glitch or what?

Ever since I started playing this game I never seen this much damage dealt in one game. I have played games where I got more kills than 19 and the highest damage I have ever gotten was around 5000. Is it a glitch or what ?

Le's say for example you have finished your promotion matches and go to ace dominator, but you have a series of bad matches and got demoted to ace master. Does that mean you have to go through promotion matches once again to get to ace dominator? I have been asking this question since last season and I don't have the heart to try it and find out.
