The size difference is crazy and ergonomics are not what one would call ideal but I've done two half days out in Nishinomiya and Kyoto respectively carrying the camera basically the whole time or in a sling and I haven't found it too unwieldy.
Using two rubber o-rings to stop the lens creep.
