Uncharacteristically lazy script detail in Reservoir Dogs that takes me out of it every time
I live in Milwaukee and although the "Wisconsin accent" has eroded over time in the more urban areas - in those days it was almost as thick as the characters in Fargo even in the city.
I'm supposed to believe that a guy with a thick obviously Brooklyn accent is from Milwaukee? Did Harvey Keitel not want to do the accent? Did QT overlook it when he wrote the script? Why not simply change it to "Yankees" fan? There's no way a guy that talks like Harvey Keitel is from Milwaukee.
