Looking to upgrade from RX 5700XT to RX 9060XT 16GB
Hey all first time poster & visitor. I figured this might be a great place to ask!
I currently have an Asrock Steel Legend B550M motherboard with a Radeon RX 5700XT Mech OC. This GPU is still a rock solid card but I'm looking to upgrade. I have been looking at the RX 9060XT 16GB. My concern is the length of the GPU & it being blocked by the x4 SATA ports on the motherboard.
It's like the 5700XT was meant for this board because it stops perfectly short of the SATA ports @ 9.1in. I was looking at the XFX Swift RX 9060XT 16GB that's dual fans & it was 10.3 in. which looks like it would interfere for the SATA ports in the PCIe1 slot.
Does anyone else have experience with this motherboard installing a newer GPU? I would be quite bummed to order a new card after taking measurements & finding out it doesn't have the clearance.
