I’m 28 and have recently lost my job due to redundancy.
I kind of fell into it after school and stayed there for ten years. However I’m wanting to learn a specific skill or trade, but I’m not sure where to even start.

For example a job as a park ranger, the requirement was NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Horticulture or Forestry. The other was a maintenance worker asking for a NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Electrical Maintenance.

I’ve looked at electrical courses and horticulture/forestry courses at my local college, however there are a large list, and I don’t know which ones are relevant.

Where can I start and how don’t know what course I’m doing, is correct?
