Hey friends, I'm fairly new to making amigurumi. And I'm running into the same problem. I will get a pattern completely finished, but when I attach the head the neck ends up floppy. I've tried adding extra stuffing, or using a different stitch. But nothing seems to be helping this issue. Any advice is very much appreciated.

I'll try to keep it brief. But this wonderful creation was born from a need to cope, and a joke from my dad. I have had my beloved stuffed monkey JoJo ever since I was born, and before that he was my father's. We haven't spent a single night apart in nearly 26 years. I finally did the most difficult thing and took him to some restoration people, so that he will be around for many many more years to come.
This is difficult for me because JoJo truly is my comfort buddy. He has been through every trial in life that one could imagine with me. Anyways, I was talking to my dad about this and he told me (as a joke) that I should make him banana nunchucks. Well, he will now have said banana nunchucks once he is back home with me.
Along with an entire plan for a fruit themed armory. Currently planning on a blueberry shield, a strawberry sword, an orange helmet, and a watermelon themed bow and arrows and quiver. If anybody has any other fruit themed weapon ideas to add, I welcome them.

I was just looking around for patterns and have stumbled upon my new favorite thing. Making clothes for my stuffed animals! There are definitely a few things I would do differently with these (i.e. make the straps a bit longer so they aren't as tight), but I am very proud of it for my first go around. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated!!
