Sugar Rush Stripey fermented sauce
Fermenting huge batches of sugar rush stipeys with onions and garlic. How do I get a smooth sauce? Mine is so fibrous. I'm afraid i'll loose a lot of volume by straining it through mesh. Any ideas?

First small harvest of the season from over 30 plants, gotta love the colors!
I travelled to Colombia 2 years ago where I had the chance to stay in a small village in the Andes. During a hike in the jungle, the locals showed us these plants of wild peppers growing undisturbed. Very small pods that are wicked hot! We picked a few, dried them and ground them as a spice mix. This year I kind of realised that this spice mix contained a bunch of seeds and I decided to sow them and see what would happen. Few months later and the wild colombian jungle is happily growing in my canadian backyard!
First ripe stripeys of the season, not bad!
Whats happening to my sugar rush peppers? All of them seem to be developing either some sort of bottom end rot / sunscald / weird brown crust. I dont know if it's all the same issue but most of my plants are affected and most sports turn to mush rapidly. My soil is rich in calcium but its been raining constantly and the soil is always wet
