I was just watching the playback of the Tenno Sho...it looks like a few umamusume done got hurt during the race! I really hope they're okay...

Every race is a battle, the risk for injury is always waiting there, but i hope everyone is alright and ready to keep on riding!

*cough, looks around the academy with a smile as she stands on the podium*

HOWDY FOLKS! Yukon Jackie Maverick! Some of yall might not know me from a cat in a tree, but I used to run a little game and I'm hoping yall love it...so let me introduce you to RRRRRRRRACIN TTRRRRRRRACEN!!!

The fun dice run minigame any umamusume can participate in!

"But Jackie...how do we play this game!?!?"

Well I'm about to tell ya partner! So lock in and listen!

This race is an open sign up I'll be running later today! The race is a 1600 meter course broken into 9 segments. 1 for the gate exit, and 8 for each 200 meters of the race.

Runners will roll 1D20 for each section of the race against their rivals! Rolling a 20 gives a boost of 5 for your score that round, rolling a 1 gives you -3 to your next roll! Pick a running style and if you are in that position during the race, you are allowed to reroll a result...but be careful...if you reroll worse you gotta keep the second roll! Once during the race you can activate your special ability! Adding 1D10 to your result to hopefully push you forward for the boost to win!

If you and another racer are af the same total at any point during a round it starts a challenge! You will both roll 1D6 to see who presses forward, and who loses. The winner of the challenge gets a boost of that number to their next score, the loser subtracts the amount they rolled lower during the challenge from the other player from their next roll!

After Dean had made a regular ass of himself it was time for the girls to cut loose. Sundance took the lead as the two umas set to putting back some libations after a lot of training and a race in the hot sun.

The alcohol went down easy as Wisco dropped cash on the table and walked away with the bottle.

(The team is on their way...I know they are now...please hurry) She thought to herself, taking a stiff pull from the bottle and settling in next to the other woman. Drink after drink the bottle ran dry as the two stood there in that hole on the wall bar. At her roots, no matter what her name was...she was an alcoholic...as the poison did its work, letting old familiar thoughts and doubts creep in.

(You dont deserve them Jack...they won't come...they're better off without you...and you know it)

(I know...you dont have to tell me)

(Not often folks get a new life...especially a coward like you...maybe its time for Jack Maverick to go away for good)

(Its not the name that matters...I'd still end up being me)

Sundance, also well drunk at this point, turned to face the brunette with a questioning gaze as she rests her hand on the other woman's shoulder.

"Seeing them ghosts again Wisco?"

"Something like that anyhow..."

Sundance frowned, giving her shoulder a light squeeze.

"Ya know...it doesnt have to be so bad...if ya finally let go. Maybe...maybe you find out its better than ya thought"

The two stumble back to the hotel, the red head helping the poor girl find her place in the world as she tucked her in. Wisco's hands holding onto her for dear life as she had tried to scoot herself away.

Looking up, the brunette was fast asleep before she had fully hit the bed, the long days and the alcohol had taken the toll on her and she had given up on being awake. On being in pain. Sundance looked at Wisco and couldn't help but feel a bit of sorrow for the person who had lost it all...but also selfishly a bit more inside that made her feel a little fuzzy. She watched the other woman for a time in silence as the world seemed to leave the two of them alone. The hands on her waist firm but comforting, she put a small kiss on Wisco Wonder's cheek and closed her eyes.

Holy smokes!! Did you see the finish to the Kentucky Derby? What an absolute display of heart and drive to pull off that end closer win!!

I really wanted Renegade to win after the Arkansas Derby win, but you can't help but be very inspired by that tough run from Golden Tempo and their Torena-san! As an American umamusume and dirt runner...THIS WAS AWESOME!!

I hope you all enjoyed watching the derby and its festivities yesterday and have a great rest of your weekend! I'll be out on the track so I can beat that Ebayan next time a race comes my way!

Rest assured the Wisco Wonder will earn her Boquet of Roses for her shoulders too!

Wisco crossed the finish line at the Keio Hai. 5 runners before her as she missed the podium by an ear or two. She veered toward the side of the track as she caught her breath and watched the celebrating Gentildonna, queen of the turf be handed her trophy as she stride to the crowd to the adoration of her fans

Wisco stamped at the turf beneath her feet a bit, noting how much differently it felt compared to her usual dirt races. She smiled slightly, knowing she gave it it everything she had, and came up a short, and thats okay

One of these races soon I'll be holding a trophy for the fans....

She trotted over to congratulate the strong run, and pay her respects to the Queen of the Turf
