Looking for help for my dad who broke his back on Saturday
Hey Community,
My dad had a pretty nasty accident over the weekend, he is an active volunteer of the CFA and his local community, father of 4 kids 2 step kids and grandfather to 9.
While cutting a tree to prevent bush fires a branch came down wrong and took the ladder out from under him causing a broken back and severe damage to his spinal cord and both wrists broken.
No damage to his brain that we can see from the scans looks like his hands protected his head but he has been in an induced coma since Saturday. They are hopeful that we will be able to wake him this weekend.
We are looking for support for him and his wife to gather some funding to make his house wheelchair accessible as he is not going to be able to walk again from this.
That beautiful lad in the first picture is me and the one in the go fund me is my brother Chris. I didn't want to take a photo of myself next to him in the condition he is in.
