Would you recommend getting into the game now?
Of course, I understand I’m posting on the Into the Unknown subreddit so presumably you all think it’s a great game that’s worth my time. From what I’ve seen, the game looks incredibly deep and flavourful and like it’s a pretty awesome and unique experience!
My question is: from what I’ve noticed, I’m not sure how much more support the game will have from wizkids in the future - assuming we see no more new product moving forward, is the game worth buying as a static standalone game with the current pieces and product available up until now? Does it feel lacking without more ships and factions etc?
I hope I’m incorrect and that the game will continue to develop and grow and have future support (I would appreciate any more up-to-date info on that too if anyone has any), but I’m asking these questions because Im interested in the game but want to know from experienced players if it’s worth getting even if it’s treated more like a static board game for my friends and I to play instead an evolving tabletop miniature game.
