Hello fellow redditors, just seeking help on the correct way to set up smb.

I currently use Windows 11 on my desktop and cachyos on my laptop.

For some reason the only way I can see my TNAS is by setting up a shared folder via smb4k. But I want to be able to access.

So my MAIN question, what's the correct way to set this up? It's my second last hurdle to ditch w11 on my desktop.

Please dont say a 1 worded reply, it's not helpful.

Hello, I have it set up so my photos I take go into a separate location, I then manually move then to the album I want it.

However whenever I do so, I get this issue deleting or moving the files from the backup.

Clearing the cache doesn't help

Hello, I want to dual boot my current cachyOS install. I plan to have windows 11 on a separate 1tb name. Purely to run modded Skyrim.

Just wondering if I can simply install and go.
