i was working with a student, and for some reason he was allowed a pen, we were working on writing our name when the student suddenly with no warning signs swung and stabbed the side of my head with the pen. This is the same student who sent me home for a week and a half with a concussion, i went home after this incident. (yes i filled out an incident report and no i haven’t gone to urgent care)
I (f20) am about to be the only para left in my room, steppingstones fired one para unjustly and the other one is quiting due to medical issues. (we have a highly aggressive student who has sent two paras to urgent care and she doesn’t want to be the third) I will be the last para in the room to finish the school year, I will have two perm subs that had been in the classroom before. The one perm sub sits around and yells at student when they do anything that isn’t to their liking and the other I don’t know well. I am not excited for the rest of the year…
