Webcam

I’ve been streaming for a little while now, don’t have much of a following yet which is ok because it’s more because I just enjoy it. I am very undecided if I’d like to use my webcam or not. I use it currently but I am considering going without one in the future. What are some of your guys preferences? I feel like since I usually play with friends while I stream my voice might get lost to new viewers, then with one I feel like I have to express more in my facial expressions. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Updates on my WIP

Small additions made to the map. The tulushian peninsula has been enlarged, as well as Colarys and the Northreach (Ideria+Skarhold). The main islands of the southern ocean have been added with smaller scattered chains to come. Some place holders for cities and kingdoms have been placed as well.

My current work in progress

I’ve changed the map around several times but this time I’m fairly happy with the current rough draft of it. Island chains in the south will be added still as far as landmass goes and then lots of detailing, mountains, rivers etc. Any thoughts?

Would this be worth reading if i follow through?

I’ve been building a fantasy world for at least a year now and working on a character in particular I really like. I developed him withnin a religious order of sorts of knights who are typically neutral or serve no real kings or lords. He is young and for the most part out of touch with the realm of nobles and court. He finds himself at the coronation of the new king with his mentor. After an unfortunate series of events the succession is thrown into turmoil resulting in a large civil war, where he ultimately finds himself involved. In which he begins to see the true nature of war, honor, etc. It is very character driven and I’ve done extensive world and character building to make it immersive but I was wondering if this is to cliche? It all really started as a fun world building project and grew from there. I’ve only wrote short stories until now so I’m thinking of going further. Again that’s a very broad explanation and it’s mostly about the way everything affects the characters and the world around them but I’m just curious if anyone would ever actually read it if they went to pick it up.
