46-year-old single woman moving to Nashville alone next summer—what neighborhoods should I consider?

Hi everyone! I’m planning a move to the Nashville area next summer and would love local advice on where to focus my search.

  • About Me: 46-year-old single, career woman. I work from home and rarely leave my house on the weekdays.
  • Weekend Lifestyle: Zero interest in nightlife. My ideal weekends are cafes, great afternoon and evening dining, art classes, and hiking or walking green trails.
  • Community: I’ll be moving solo, so I’d love a walkable neighborhood with plenty of charm, scenic surroundings, and greenery. I’m also looking for a place where it feels natural to meet people, date, and build a social circle, farmers markets, cafes, community groups, and other local activities. I’ll be renting an apartment with a $2,500/month budget and prefer a luxury/higher-end, quiet community with a 35+ crowd.

Areas on my radar:

  1. Germantown
  2. Green Hills
  3. Franklin

Any other hidden gems within ~30 minutes of BNA airport I should consider? Thank you for your help! 😄
