Choosing invisigal isn’t “lust over love”

Turns out that some people think we chose lust over love. I don’t want to be upset over this but I do want to explain why this isn’t the case.

If I was really the type of guy to be nothing but lustful I would have switched up on invisigal a while ago. Especially when she says “I’m not going to fuck you because you bought me a bucket of corn”. But I stayed on her side throughout the whole game. There was no spicy scenes and there probably won’t be some added in season 2 but I will still like invisigal regardless.

Also there was so much scenes out there that makes invisigal likable, not just the dream scene. Like the playground or the banter they had throughout the game.

Is invisigal overrated or underrated?

I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer here. People have different perspectives on this.

I don’t know if I’m going to vote on this right away because right now I’m not sure.

Random question. Do you think invisigal smells bad?

I saw a post about ranking dispatch characters by how they probably smell. Most of them ranked invisigal last. Probably not in a bad way though.

Or Probably because she smokes. Or because she runs a lot.

What do you think?

Is Killing shroud yourself as bad as the actual bad ending?

I got called a hypocrite for saying that invisigal killing shroud is bad, even though I chose to kill shroud myself. but here’s what I think. Certain actions can cause different scenarios in the future. leaving invisigal to run off alone somewhere after killing a dude is worse than Robert’s punishment of just being suspended for a while.

I personally think that Robert killing shroud is better than invisigal killing shroud. I could be wrong And if I am I’ll admit it.

What do you guys think?

For those who played dispatch . How difficult was the game? Feel free to explain

For me it was perfectly balanced. Yeah I did fail some dispatching games but I still got the good ending on my first attempt

Can someone remind me about the debate back when ep4 released?

I remembered that 67% of players including me choose invisigal when the episode released. But I wasn’t really part of the debate back then, I was focused on how the relationship will continue. but for the debate everyone else was focused on, how was it? For both sides. Was it bad?

Are we biased?

I guess everyone has different thoughts about her writing.

But me personally. I don’t think keeping her on the team makes you biased.

Also it’s been a while since I last played dispatch. I don’t remember her lying.

If invisigal was a man would you still like her?

I got told this before and seen other people say it too. “If invisigal was a man you would hate her”

I don’t think I would though.

I might see her differently but I wouldn’t hate her more because she was a guy.

What’s your thoughts on reversing the gender?

Is it just me or is invisigal taking a bullet for Robert so forgettable for some people?

A lot of people are focused on how blazer saved Robert in the bar from shroud. They use this scene to show that blazer is better and invisigal could never. They’re acting like invisigal does 0 hero deeds and fucks up the most out of everyone.

First I want to say I have nothing against blazer. I found it pretty cool that she saved Robert from shroud. Along with everything else she has done for Robert and even helped him get back on his feet.

But this doesn’t make invisigal any worse. She has also done a lot for Robert as well. Sacrificing her life for him, twice. Outsmarting shroud and his team. Shes the reason why Robert got the Astro pulse back. We would have never had a final battle with the mech suit if it wasn’t for her.

It’s so easy for someone to downplay another when they’re at their worst or when they see someone else at their best.

Both girls are amazing in their own ways. They both did the best they could for what they are capable of.

What was your reaction to invisigals confession?

At first I felt betrayed. That was because of the theory around TikTok of invisigal being the one who planted the bomb on the mecha suit. Which ended up being true. But for a different reason.

Later on I realized that she didn’t have a choice. And She felt horrible about it. And she wanted to make it up by either leaving Robert’s life from the guilt or risking her own life for him.

I wasn’t mad. I felt bad for her.

Thoughts on chase?

I’m going to be honest. I’m not a big fan of chase. Especially on how he treats invisigal. I know he also goes against everyone sometimes but it feels like he goes against invisigal the most. Saying that her name being invisibitch was right felt pretty messed up.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate him it’s just that he pisses me off sometimes. He does save invisigals life later on and tries to be better so I guess that’s something.

Let me know what you invisigal fans think of him

Was it invisigals fault that chase almost died?

I don’t think so.

We know invisigal was right to go. If shroud took the pulse before invisigal did Robert would have never had a mecha suit to fight in and shroud would have won.

They’re all superhero’s. Or trying to be one. And they always put other people’s lives above them. Invisigal risked her life for Robert and chase risked his life for her. That’s what hero’s do.

This topic is pretty difficult for me to think about so this is all I got so far. Feel free to add some things to this

Invisigal gets a lot of screen time for a good reason.

I’ve seen people complain that dispatch glazes invisigal all the time and blazer doesn’t get that much screen time at all.

Maybe that’s just how it feels for them. I don’t know the final estimate time for each character.

But regardless… blazer and these other characters already have a comic explaining their side of the story, or they’re just not really an important part of Robert’s story.

And I think romance is just a fun addition to the game. But at the end of the day romance isn’t even the main point of the game. In fact You could beat the game without romancing anyone. It’s redemption and basic understanding that’s important.

The bad ending doesn’t feel canon

I understand it’s a multiple choice game with multiple endings so technically there isn’t a “canon” ending. But let’s say dispatch made a movie exactly like the game, where we watch one story line. Obviously it would have to end with the good ending.

I mean The Who point of the game is redemption stated in Robert’s speech in ep3. And it wouldn’t make sense to just throw all of that away after what Robert and invisigal go through together.

Even the achievements tell you if you succeeded or failed.

Although I don’t know what the developers behind dispatch think about this so it’s just my thoughts.
I could be right or wrong.

Do you like how invisigal was written?

I like it. I don’t get uncomfortable from her sex jokes. I like how complex she is, And her being misunderstood by others made me like her more.

What are your thoughts?
