My Recent Manual Save Completely Disappeared

I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with this game’s save system. I decided to start Herodotos’ questline and ended up making the wrong choice, especially since the game gives you basically no real clue about who the culprit actually is. Because of that, I wanted to go back to my manual save from the previous day, since that was the last time I had saved manually.

But somehow the save completely disappeared, not only from the game itself, but also from the save folder on my PC. The only saves that still appear are much older ones, while the recent saves were all made today after I had already made the wrong choice.

Now I’m honestly so upset that I don’t even want to continue the quest anymore, and I completely lost the motivation to finish the remaining missions in the game.

Is there any way to recover that manual save?

[ALL] A Small Detail I Miss About Zelda

I know this might sound like a dumb complaint to some people, but one of the things I always loved about Link was the fact that he was left-handed. It made him stand out and gave him a small but memorable trait that became part of his identity to me.
Ever since the newer games, Nintendo seems determined to distance Zelda from a lot of the older elements of the franchise, and even Link being left-handed is basically gone now. I “”””understood”””” it in Skyward Sword because of the Wii motion controls, but now even movie Link is right-handed.
Again, I know it’s a tiny detail. But sometimes those tiny details are exactly what make characters feel special and recognizable.
At this point I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if the Ocarina of Time remake happened and Link magically became right-handed there too.
