I am hardening my firewall based on recommendations following a security audit. One of the suggestions was to use my domain account instead of a local account for administration, so I made the change without too much of a problem. About a week later, I was unable to log in and only received the error "LDAP Quota Exceeded". LDAP is still working, and no other domain accounts are having an issues. I figured there was a hidden setting somewhere that limited how much a non-local admin account could do but haven't been able to find anything like that. My account has also been unable to login again after waiting for over a day, and about the only articles I've found are for setting up LDAP with no mention of this specific error. Is there something I can try or a different resource I can use?

I am having problems with Splashtop not working in Datto that started a couple weeks ago. It's not working on any of my agents regardless of if they're initiating or receiving the connection. I opened up a support ticket but was told it looked like a known issue with the agent browser. They said they would look into it, but I haven't heard anything else since. In the meantime, I am trying to use web remote, but that isn't working near as well for my needs. Has anyone else been having similar issues or found a workaround?

So I have been doing a dfsr migration on my two DCs, which are both Server 2016. The process has technically finished in that the SYSVOL_DFSR folder is present, the net shares are correct, and the backlog says that both DCs are in sync. The problem is that both servers are stuck in the 'Eliminating' phase, and Event Viewer just says that it can't delete SYSVOL with nothing really useful to explain why. I have been doing research and trying different things for literal days, but nothing has worked. I think I finally tracked the problem down to the ntfrs service not running on either server. The problem is, I can't get it started. Running it from Server Manager, Services, or Powershell have all come back with errors saying the service is not responding to the control function. Any help to get them running long enough to get the DCs to the 'Eliminated' state would be amazing. Of course, if I'm completely off base and need to look somewhere else, I'd be grateful for that as well.

I have inherited a network that is an absolute mess. I know what servers there are, but I have no idea what other networking equipment there is. I was going to use nmap to help list some of it, but I have both L2 and L3 switches that I want to find. Is there something I can use that scans layers 2 and 3 and diagrams it for me?
