First solo road trip (22F) with my beagle up to Maine! Looking for sanity-saving tips & campsite advice.

Hey everyone! I’m (22F) graduating college this month and taking a solo car-camping road trip up to Maine with my beagle.

Over the last couple years, I’ve become pretty passionate about camping. After losing my mom to cancer earlier this year, I decided I needed to just get away now that I’m done with my degree and truly reflect on how insane life has been.

I would love some advice on how to keep my sanity on my first long solo trip, some dog-friendly travel hacks, or cool spots near my stops! TYIA

Camping spots:
Kerr Lake, NC
Elk Neck, MD
Willington, CT
Wolfes Neck, ME
Rickets Glen, PA
Assateague, MD
