Where to transfer as an intl.

Hi! I’m an international student and made a huge mistake: I asked for a full ride almost everywhere. I only got accepted to schools where I didn’t report my income, with big scholarships but still a lot left to pay, mostly living costs.

I don’t want a second gap year, so I’m considering taking one offer with outside funding/loans. But the university isn’t very strong, and with my stats I could probably get into better schools if I’m paying a similar amount anyway. So I’m wondering where I could transfer later as an international and still get scholarships/aid. Max I am willing to spend is 40k.

Should I do a 2nd gap year

I was accepted to several universities, but only two are places I would genuinely want to attend. However, their total cost would be around €40,000 per year, while my family and I could realistically cover only about €20,000 combined. The more affordable options do not align well with what I am looking for. Since I have already taken one gap year, I am unsure whether taking a second gap year would be strategic or too risky. What are your thoughts on this? What I could possibly do to get into top universities with a fat financial aid next year with so many gap years?

Hi! I recently applied to UniBo. I believe it’s still a little early for the results but would love to know their average stats that get accepted. I applied to Management and Economics - Forlì and Business and Economics - Bologna. I got 1490 SAT and 8.7/10, 8.8/10, 9/10. Is it possible to get in? Thanks in advance ☺️
