eBay cleanup help for RC when he takes over.
Fix this shit when you takeover Ryan cohen. Started selling some used textbooks I have and someone asked for the ISBN (international standard book number). Their stupid AI bots keep blocking the ISBN I am sending because they think it’s some kind of violation of their contact policy.
Also when listing books there is not a great way to easily enter the ISBN into the product details. I’m not sure if there is even a section for it. So this is one easy fix when you takeover over.
Goes to show eBay is far from perfect and small things like this can make a big difference. Amazon currently makes selling books more lucrative but holy shit their customer support is awful and they try to price gouge you anyway possible. eBay could easily take some market share from them in this category with just some minimal effort. decent customer support that speaks good English and actually wants you on their platform. And not price gouging you and price fixing for certain books. Also doing some sort of one day shipping for textbooks because students who procrastinate till day before classes will pay more for fast shipping.
