oral thrush

Hello everyone. A friend recently pointed out that I had bad breath. I started looking for the cause and realized I had a white coating on my tongue. I visited an ENT specialist who prescribed Pantomed for reflux and Diflucan for a fungal infection; ten days later, my tongue had turned completely pink. However, three days after that, the coating returned. I’m at a loss—do I have reflux? If so, what should I do? How do I get rid of the fungal infection? I’m currently changing my diet: cutting out sugar, reducing carbohydrates, and—to address acidity—cutting back on coffee and carbonated drinks. Will the fungal infection go away? Should I get a gastroscopy? Thanks for reading. 🙏
