Urgently needed Fiktionsbescheinigung from Bochum AbH
Has anyone here dealt with the Bochum Ausländerbehörde recently?
I was a student in Germany and after finishing my studies I applied for a residence permit based on family reunification/spouse visa.
I first applied in Berlin in January, but after moving to Bochum I submitted a new application to the Bochum ABH at the end of March.
My current Fiktionsbescheinigung expires on May end, and I have travel plans during the first week of June within the EU. I already emailed the Bochum ABH during first week of May but haven’t received any response yet.
Does anyone know:
• how long Bochum ABH usually takes to issue a new Fiktionsbescheinigung?
• whether it’s possible to get an emergency appointment or temporary document for travel?
• if going there in person helps?
Would really appreciate any recent experiences or suggestions.
