This is a Reupload of my initial post (some of the photos didn’t upload). I recently picked up this Savage No 4 Mk1* from my LGS for $750 out the door. I am new to enfields and I am curious to see what I have. What year was this made, what’s its likely story, and how would you rate the overall condition? For reference, the bore seems decent, no obvious issues, serial is 0C18060, bolt and receiver serials match, has the “S” marking on receiver, and barrel bands, and an “England” stamped on the receiver’s right side. Excuse the repost, I am a novice redditor.

I’ve been working on the “Poor Man’s TP9” project for the last few months and this is the final product. It has performed very well suppressed and unsuppressed with the exception of a few failure to feeds using 147gr hollow points. I will be testing 165gr Hush subsonics from Freedom Munition this weekend and will report back. Let me know if you have any questions down below.
