Update (more pics) Fabri-Vise

Taking some better pics and a closer look it seems completely welded and I’m assuming all either forged or at very least not cast.

I’ve included the original post pics for reference.

Just wondering if anyone’s got any more ideas of the history of this thing or where it may have come from. I found it for $5 at a yard sale and I’ve been wanting to get a small non cast iron vise so I can be a little less gentle with it and thought this seemed like a really decent vise

Old vise info ?

Says “Fabri-Vise” “Pat pend” is this some sort of build your own vise ? Looks like the kind you might find bolted to a utility trucks bumper ? Any idea of its forged or cast ?
Square base with bolt holes seems welded on.
