Does everyone wonder this

Full disclosure: I lean toward having health anxiety and am quick to jump to worst case scenarios. That being said, does everyone with FS have the same thing I have where you wonder sometimes if this is the right diagnosis or if there’s something else secretly wrong (like a major tear or nerve injury or tumor!?) I think it just feels like, how can FS hurt THIS BAD and last THIS LONG and be THIS HARD to make any progress with?! So then my brain starts to fill in like “what if it’s really something else and you’re treating it wrong or letting too much time pass when you should be having surgery” etc etc. Anyway just wondering if anyone’s brain is like mine haha

Just so over it

I was so happy that I had a full nights sleep (well, I still woke up to change positions but wasn’t fully awake as I usually am) but it appears to have just been a one off bc here I am again awake at 4am with my friends Voltarin and Heating Pad. I’m in month 5. It’s been 4 weeks and 3 days since my cortisone shot. I have a follow up appt at the 6 week mark and I suppose will have a second cortisone shot. If I compare how I am now to how I was before the first injection, there are some improvements (less pain at rest during day, night waking now from stiffness and discomfort rather than sharp stabs, slight increase in passive ROM) but I think the added component at this point is how over it I am, and how disheartening it feels to know this could go on for years.

How to sleep

I know everyone is different but I’m hoping someone can help. I’m in month five of frozen shoulder and am desperate for a full night’s sleep. I can’t find any position to sleep in that is comfortable. If I sleep on my good side, even with a pillow, my shoulder kind of falls into itself at the capsule and hurts. If I sleep on my back, my shoulder blade aches and pushes in (I have some winging and guarding stuff going on) and hurts. If I sleep upright (the only position that seems to be ok for shoulder), my neck hurts. I have been taking so much Advil and Tylenol. Currently 1am and doing some ice in hopes that it’ll get numb for a while. Anyway, tell me how you sleep please !

Is this enough estradiol

For context, I am 47, have had FS for 4-5 months. Had a cortisone shot (blind) three weeks ago and started HRT two weeks ago. I’m on .025mg of estradiol patch (lowest dose) and 100mg of progesterone per night continuously . Is the dose too low of estrogen to help my FS or has anyone found it helped? I started at the lowest dose because I’m pretty sensitive to dips in estradiol (I even get some crying episodes on the days I don’t use vaginal estrogen cream and when I was on BC in my 20s I was an emotional mess on the week of no pills). FS has been by far the worst pain I’ve ever experienced and I’m desperate for sleep.
