Two ultrasounds. Vent/thoughts

I'm 43 and the past year has been rough. My cycles have been getting heavier. I use a menstrual cup and sometimes I am emptying a 15ml cup every couple of hours. Cycles this year has cause pain to the point of passing out and unable to leave bed for over 24 hours. My libido is gone, my body recoils when my husband tries to even touch anywhere on my torso.

After the last ultrasound, my gyn said she wants a biopsy and to get a saline sonogram done (due to the mobile debris). She also said options for treatment moving forward is either and IUD, which is not recommended for me; birth control which has wrecked my mental health in the past; or hysterectomy.

If I get a hysterectomy, doesn't that mean more meds for the rest of my life? I'm already on meds for life due to total thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid cancer. I'm scared of having to spend months feeling terrible until things rebalance out.

I just needed to vent to others who understand.

Hoya Sunrise

This lovely has been outside for a bit and dealing with a mild mealy bug issue amongst all my Hoyas. But when checking it for bugs this morning I think I found lacewing eggs? If so, should I bring it inside along with all my Hoyas so they can clean up my mealy bug problem? Or am I better off to just leave outside and let nature do what she does?

And am I getting a peduncle?

Comfort food

From Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat

Pasta with broccoli and great northern beans. Bonus addition of Lions mane mushrooms. Skipped the fresh toasted breadcrumbs and just toasted some panko. Finished with a healthy grating of parm. Not pretty but just what was needed.

Long story short. 43F. Passed out at work mid February. Low stress job. Had some incontinence and confusion that occurred during the episode. Tests were ordered. Just got the results from the 48 hour monitor. Neurologist who ordered the test referred me to an electrophysiologist. Earliest appointment isn't until mid-July.

Since it is a couple months away, should I reach out to my PCP or back to Neurology to request any additional testing that would be helpful for the upcoming appointment?

I do also have an EEG scheduled in June.
