Questions with class registered

I registered three weeks, but I accidentally made a mistake during registration and didn't move some classes from my shopping cart in time, so I wasn't able to enroll in a few of the courses I really wanted.

For now, my schedule looks like the one above. Overall, what do you think of these professors? Also, does this schedule seem manageable, or is it too packed for a first-semester LS student?

The class I wanted most was Power & Politics in America. I'm currently #17 on the waitlist. Do you think I have a realistic chance of getting in? Also, when does waitlist movement usually happen? Is it mostly during the summer, or is there still significant movement during the first week of classes?

I'm currently interested in the humanities and am considering majoring in a field related to politics, sociology, or another humanities discipline in the future. At the same time, maintaining a strong GPA is very important to me. Based on the courses and professors I have right now, do you think it's realistic to earn mostly A's if I stay on top of the work?

Finally, I'm thinking about adding a light 2 credit course, but I'm not very familiar with the options available. Does anyone have recommendations for interesting and relatively manageable 2 credit classes that are good for first-year students?

Hi! I'm an incoming NYU LS freshman, and before course registration opens I've been trying to organize a list of potential classes I'm interested in. Based on the courses I've selected so far, does my schedule look generally doable for a first year student?

I'm still not 100% sure what I want to study long term, but I'm currently interested in politics and sociology. Because of that, I'm considering either Intro to Sociology or International Politics. For those who have taken either course, which would you recommend and why?

One of my main goals this year is to earn the strongest GPA possible. Looking at the courses listed above, are the professors generally known for tough grading, or are they considered relatively fair?

I'm also hoping to add a 2 credit course. Since I don't have a specific requirement in mind yet, I mostly picked something that looked interesting. Do you think that's a good approach, or are there any 2 credit classes you'd particularly recommend for first year students?

Any advice on workload, grading, professors, or course selection would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
