What is Kings best mystery?
Hello everyone,
I've read maybe 5 King books in the past and have been on a bit of a tear going through another 3 of them over the last month. I absolutely loved Under the Dome and have moved on to Salem's Lot but I really want to find a book that captured the feeling I had coming into Under the Dome. There was this giant unknowable problem that floated in the background of the story and unfortunately it wasn't actually that big of a focus.
What do you think is his best mystery? Ideally it's paranormal/extra terrestrial, I read the Outsider and loved that mystery too. I don't even care if the answer to the questions is a let down. I find myself getting obsessed with the mysteries as they're explored and am desperate for something that scratches this particular itch.
I've read Under the dome, The outsider, Later, Billy summers, Mr mercedes, The stand, Long walk, the institute if that helps.
