Guy apologized

I was about to go shower after the gym and a guy right next to the lockers opened his shower curtain and stood there naked. His glasses were on the bench next to me and I don’t think he could see that clearly. When he noticed I was standing at my locker and could see him next he goes, “whoops! I’m sorry!” I was like “for what man?” And he didn’t know what to say but looked embarassed. He was a younger guy. I said “it’s all good man, I’m about to get a shower too.” He kind of just nodded and grabbed his stuff as I went to grab my shower. It made me wonder, was he apologizing for being nude in the locker room? It was Al’s most like he felt bad for being naked. I really wish people didn’t feel that way and used the shower comfortably.

Question of curtains

I started going to a new gym and the locker room had like six showers with curtains for privacy. My old gym was open showers so that’s what I’m used to. When I see guys use the showers here they close the curtain. I’m fine doing that but these curtains are kind of gross. I don’t like rubbing up against them and something there is residue left on them. I don’t want to complain to the staff cause I’m new and don’t know anyone yet. I don’t want to be the only guy not closing my curtain but I’m curious what people in this community would do. Thanks for the advice!

Jammed Locker

Had an interesting experience at the gym this morning. After my workout I sat in the sauna in my towel as I always do and then hit the showers. Had a normal shower. It’s an open one and a few guys were in there. When I was done I dried off and went back to the sauna cause I leave my towel on the side to dry while I change. I set my towel in there and went to my locker naked like I usually do. When I get to my locker it seems to be jammed so I think I have the wrong one and try opening other ones around. Nope it’s my locker. I sort of panic and start to hit the old metal locker. It won’t budge. Luckily this guy walks by and asks what’s wrong. I tell him and he’s like no problem I’ll get help and he goes and gets a lifeguard at the pool to help. This younger guy comes in and sort of hits it near the lock and it pops open. I was so appreciative! I could have grabbed my towel and got help myself but never felt the need too. Instead these two guys helped me get my clothes. Was awesome to experience friendly people in the locker room.
