Hey! I lost a lot of hair but have been trying to grow it back. I am very close to trying minoxidil but I don’t want to dread shed any new growth I may have. I can’t tell if I am actively regrowing or just staying the same. The first pic is a year ago. The other pics are more recent. Looking for a second set of eyes here

Ok- I live in an apartment and this looks like a maple sapling. I have pulled it year by year because, it can’t live here. It’s in between my brick exterior wall and patio concrete. This is not the ideal spot for a whole maple tree. The problem is, is has more will to live than any human, weed, bug ect I have ever know. I have pulled, poured boiling water on it, poured strait vinegar on it. The only thing I have not tried is some type of weed/plant killer. Idk- I have heard bad things and I have pets.
What should I do next!?!??
Ps- a lot of my friends thought it’s poison ivy or another related plant. It’s not the case. This guy has a stick like “trunk” as thick as my thumb this year
