First photography setup, for Japan. Thoughts ?

Hello guys !
I’m buying my first proper camera and currently have a second hand Fujifilm X-T50 with the XF 16–80mm f/4 reserved.
I’m pretty new to photography, so my plan is to keep things simple and use this setup for my upcoming trip to Japan. I’ll mostly be taking travel photos, street scenes, landscapes, architecture, and whatever else catches my eye.
Instead of buying more lenses straight away, I’m thinking of using the 16–80mm for the whole trip, learning as I go, and then deciding afterward if I actually need another lens based on what I enjoyed shooting and what I felt was missing.
For anyone who has used the X-T50 or the 16–80mm, does this sound like a good first setup? Anything you wish you knew when you were starting out?
