Quitting at 31
I bought the bitter nail polish. It's nasty stuff, taste lingers if you get it in your mouth.
I'm realizing how much I sucked my thumb now.
Wondering if I should put away my security blanket too. I like the way the fabric feels when I rub it against itself between my thumb and my forefinger. Like the grain of the threads, the friction? That's what my right hand is usually doing while I suck my left thumb. Now it just feels empty. Less satisfying.
I'm on day two of quitting. Tried to watch a movie, it's so hard. Like, the movie's happening and it's all that's happening. I don't think I can focus on movies for a while.
Woke up this morning with the bitter taste in my mouth. I don't know if I'm sucking in my sleep. Might put on a glove at some point to prevent that.
