[task] Part-Time Outreach Assistant for Travel Content Creator
I run a full-time travel content brand across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. I travel constantly and partner with hotels, restaurants and brands in each city I visit. The outreach side has outgrown what I can handle alone and I need someone to take it over.
How I work
I lean heavily on AI for drafting and research, and you'd be expected to as well. I'm not looking for someone to write every message from scratch. What AI can't do is check that a contact is real, judge whether a business is actually a good fit, or handle a reply that goes off-script.
There's also work I deliberately won't automate. Anything touching my accounts, DMs especially, gets done by hand. Automation tools there risk flags or bans and I'm not putting my accounts at risk to save time. So Instagram outreach is one message at a time.
That's the shape of the role: AI does the heavy lifting, you do the judgment and the parts that need a human.
What you'd be doing
Researching businesses in cities I'm heading to next, hotels, restaurants, gyms, tour operators, and building target lists.
Finding and checking contact details. This is the part that matters most. Every email must be confirmed from the business's own website or a direct source. No guessed addresses, no info@ assumptions. If an email can't be found, you note that and find the Instagram handle instead.
Sending pitches using my templates, adapted per business with a specific detail about them. Emails via a dedicated address, Instagram DMs by hand.
Tracking everything in a shared spreadsheet: who was contacted, when, which channel, what they said, and what needs chasing.
Chasing replies on a schedule so leads don't go cold.
What I'm looking for
Genuinely strong written English. You'll be representing my brand in first contact with businesses.
Comfortable using AI tools well, and equally comfortable knowing when the output is wrong. AI confidently invents email addresses. Catching that is the job.
Obsessive about detail. I've had pitches bounce because an address was wrong, and that wastes a real opportunity.
Reliable on timing. I often work on short notice, a few days ahead of arriving somewhere.
Bonus, not required: any second language, especially Italian, Croatian, Turkish, Spanish or German. I pitch in local languages where it helps.
The details
Part-time, roughly 5-10 hours per week.
Remote, async is fine.
$5/hr plus bonus.
