We all know that r/Catholicism is a very misleading name, as it really represents young and white American teenagers that can't healthily deal with the fact that they want to masturbate. But still, this is a new level for their moderation.

So, there was a thread yesterday reporting that Pope Leo XIV has had a private meeting with Bad Bunny. I didn't even read the comments but rather just left one, saying that I thought this meeting was very cool.

Some minutes later I came back to a swarm of replies of very angry people saying that his lyrics were against the good catholic sex moral teachings. Some of them were coping so bad that they claimed to believe that the Pope asked for this meeting to correct Bad Bunny's behavior and lyrics.

The whole thing was so hilarious beyond the limit, and I actually enjoyed exposing these people's authoritarian fantasies by saying that the Church would never apply censorship to Catholic artists (see Rosalia, for example), and that the Pope most probably vibed to and enjoyed Bad Bunny's songs too.

At this point people were all over the place and that was too much for the mods to take too. The ban came. When I asked which rule I had broken, the mod was left speechless and said something generic. When I asked to point out where, he failed, and his silence was the loudest confession that the sub is run on very easily irritated men that gets off by thinking they're some type of Inquisition in a parallel universe.

Sorry for the lengthy post but this was so unbelievable that I had to share. Not only here but let this be on reddit to whoever still needs to learn about the nature of that place.
