TNR with a wounded stray cat(male)?

[North Texas]

Recently had a male black cat start hanging around our property. Saw that he was unfixed, and started feeding him with the plan of TNR.

From a camera on the food, we’ve noticed that he has a cut/wound visible on his left “butt cheek” area. We know that FIV and Feline Leukemia Virus are a concern around here, through neighbors and a past experience with a semi-domesticated barn cat that was living here when we first moved in.

Our local free/cheap TNR and vaccination clinic is unable to accept sick or injured pets, so we’ll have to go through a normal vet.

What is the standard procedure for testing and treatment on a wounded stray cat? Rough estimate, what might I be looking at in terms of time and money spent on dealing with this cat?

Assuming worst case scenario, what is usually done if a stray tests positive for either of those viruses?
