Graduate Careers - Engineering to Finance

I am currently in my final year of engineering at a top 10 uni and after internships and assessing the graduate market, engineering seems extremely dull and the pay doesn’t match the effort it takes, even after 5-10 years.

I have been considering pivoting into accounting to provide me with a strong base, and the hybrid work seems much more attractive. Do I need to get an MSc in accounting for this? Has anyone made the switch and how did you find it? My friends doing those roles seem to be having a much better time.

Currently applying to any audit roles I see.

Any advice! :)
