I don't know if it's an issue for people using the snapdragon 8gen 2 but for some reason after the new update basically none of my games run on the turnip drivers anymore, they all crash. Should i downgrade?

I am using a Retroid pocket 6 (snapdragon 8 gen2), and have a few games in eden, all with updates and dlc.
When i open them directly in the emulator (newest release), everything works fine, but when i try to launch a game from the ES DE frontend using eden (standalone) as alternative emulator and having https://github.com/GlazedBelmont/es-de-android-custom-systems/releases/tag/v1.49 as custom system xml, they crash immediately as the shaders are building.
The base game files are on the es de switch folder, but the updates and dlc files are on a separate folder in the same sd card. Games without any extras also crash.
Could anyone help me resolve this issue?

Edit: Happens regardless of installed updates or dlcs.
