What a mess. Clicked on the link to purchase tickets at 10:05 and were 687 in the queue. Only seats that were available that it would let me see were in the student section- no option to purchase anything else so I bought ten of them for our family and friends. Now I read that we won’t be admitted into the student section because we aren’t students! What the heck?!? If anyone wants ten student section tickets let me know! So frustrating.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good endodontist in or near Evanston? Bonus if you happen to know if it’s in the guardian network. Possible root canal needed. Thanks!

My daughter is not happy at her D65 school because she has no close friends and it is breaking my heart. I don’t feel like we have any decent options though. Joan of arc is so small. Her grade there only has 4 girls in it! St As doesn’t feel like the right fit- too competitive and athletic. The non parochial schools are not affordable. Is there any place I’m missing that would be within a 10 minute drive of northwest Evanston that we should consider?

We are planning to renovate the upstairs of our house.
Creating a master suite (there is now a jack and Jill style bathroom that we will make just for the master).
Creating a master closet.
Adding a wall and closet for a 4th bedroom
Renovating a second hallway bath.
The master bath will require moving plumbing slightly. The other bath will not require any plumbing changes.
There will be a few walls taken down and two rebuilt.

We received one estimate for 200-240k. I know it’s not crazy for what we’re talking about but it feels really high to me. We were hoping for closer to 150. Middle of the road finishes.

Am I totally out of touch thinking we should be able to get it done for 150?
