Tips for telling apart OP 36mm and 41mm on pictures
Which is which? Not always easy to tell from proportions alone.
Quick tips for telling the OP 36 and 41 apart on pictures just from the dial:
- 41 has an empty space equivalent to one “square” between indices and squares. 36 has a much smaller empty space. Zoom in and look at the 9 o’clock orange square on the 2nd pic, it barely overlaps the marker on 41mm.
- 41 indices extend past 12 o'clock Coronet . 36 extend less. Look at the 12 o’clock orange horizontal line.
These are applicable to gen, but not U1:
- 41 hours hand goes to bottom edge of indices. 36 slightly shorter
- 41 the end link is about as long as the lugs. 36 is shorter
Now can you tell them apart on the 1st pic? I'll unveil the answer later today.
