I passed CBSE Class 12 in 2025.
I appeared for the improvement exam in Maths in the same year (2025 compartment/improvement cycle).
I again appeared as a private candidate in 2026 for Maths, but my marks did not improve.
Since my 2026 attempt didn’t help, can I appear once again in 2027 as a private candidate for Class 12 Maths improvement?
Is there any CBSE rule that limits the number of improvement attempts or the number of consecutive years after passing

I passed Class 12 this year with 58.67% PCM and 70% in English. I couldn’t qualify IMU-CET, and I really don’t want to waste another year. I’m eligible under the SC relaxation criteria, so I’m looking for DGS-approved B.Tech Marine Engineering colleges.
Which colleges would you recommend based on placements and reputation? If anyone has been in a similar situation or is already in the Merchant Navy, I’d really appreciate your advice.
