I let part of my backyard get rather overgrown for the past 2 years and am just now clearing it out. (Related: my daughter just turned 2). Among all the weeds I found these two tuliptrees, on the left (with orange tape around it) and right of this big hickory. Can I keep either one of them, or are they too close to the big tree? The one on the right seems more likely to be in an acceptable spot.
