Am I correctly identifying underfull vs overfull in my recordings?

Hi! I've been trying to lower my vocal weight and size, and trying to do ear training to figure out what's going on.

Underfull = large vocal size, but small weight. It sounds like an Elmo attempt to me. Overfull = small vocal size, but large weight. It sounds like a Hollywood nerd voice to me.

These are some of my practice recordings, and I've been trying to identify if they're under or over full.

Thank you!

Am I changing my vocal size, or am I changing something different?

The first recording is my baseline vocal size, the second recording is with me trying to shrink it. Can I get a sanity check on if it's working?

normal: https://voca.ro/1e2u7Js6qRUA

lighter: https://voca.ro/12olYDnZeS3Y

I also sound strained, and it also feels like I can only shrink my vocal size by a small amount. I don't know how to decrease it even more.

Thank you
