Teaching Piano at the age of 16

Hi!

I'm currently a student at the piano, with a strong foundation and according to some people good with teaching ( in general, not the piano ).

since, I want to look for some side hustles.

and one thing I can take advantage of is my piano skills, I have a great foundation, scales, Chords, techniques

currently studying for a competition, and playing as a pinaist for a church.

I want to earn some extra money, but I don't want to charge much since OP here is not a virtuouso prof yet.

What can I teach for some beginning peeps? or what can I teach them, I know i should teach the basics, but in terms of step by step, and what study materials should I have. sorry for the bombardment of questions, it's my first time to teach. and I want to be a great teacher even I'm a student myself.

Mendelssohn in one month?

Hello!

I'm currently interested in joining a competition regards you performing one movement from any concerto and you will be playing with an orchestra.

I'm interested in playing Mendelssohn's 3rd movement, because I believe it's more flashy than the first and the first is basically a cliffhanger regards from a professional friend. The competition audition deadline is at September 10 and guess what it's already August 9!

here's my problem which I need help with.:

  1. Procrastination

I barely have started practice yet, I have problems facing

myself and convincing myself in the right state of mind if I should continue or I don't know. this is my first competition I need some right word or I don't know. it's my first time joining a competition and I'm barely a self taught.

  1. Skills

I believe I'm already in a state where I'm at an intermediate level ig. but I want to be push myself to the limits.

in conclusion, I don't know I know I need to be realistic but I really want to push myself to learn. I don't want to settle for a Mozart concerto because I want to last an impression and Mendy's concerto is my top favs.
