Looking for feedback on my planned high-end gaming/workstation build before I pull the trigger.
PC:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
- Motherboard: MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition
- RAM: 64GB Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-6000 CL30
- SSD: Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB (OS & games)
- PSU: be quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum 1200W
- Case: be quiet! Silent Base 802
- Windows 11 Pro
Storage:
- Reusing my current SSDs for extra storage.
Monitor:
- MSI MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED (49", 5120x1440, 240Hz)
- Monitor arm: Ergotron HX with HD Pivot
Usage:
- Gaming (Obviously haha)
- Software development
Goals:
- Quiet under normal use.
- High-end but not unnecessarily overkill.
- Built to last 6-8 years.
Would you change anything or do you see any weak links in the build?
