Cruising the Hummingbird Highway, Belize

One of my favorite parts of working at Bucket List Tours & Transfers Belize is driving the Hummingbird Highway. We travel this route regularly while providing private shuttles and transfers across the country, and it never gets old. The lush rainforest, winding roads, mountain views, and rivers make every drive feel like an adventure. Even after countless trips, I still find myself appreciating just how beautiful this highway is. If you’re visiting Belize, don’t rush through it—take your time and enjoy one of the most scenic drives in Central America.

Tiger Fern Double Waterfall, Belize

Tiger Fern Waterfall is one of Belize’s hidden gems, tucked deep inside the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. The hike is definitely strenuous, with steep climbs and jungle terrain, but the reward is incredible - panoramic views of maya mountains, pristine rainforest, and a stunning double waterfall with refreshing natural pools at the end. The trail is about 6.7 km (4.2 miles) round-trip and typically takes 3–4 hours.

Would you tackle this hike for a swim beneath one of Belize’s most beautiful waterfalls?
