When will I know I'm ready for 1.5?

I have been doing the first level for about 4 months. Some things are easy. Some things are not. I have 2 instructors who tend to be more challenging, and they are my favorite instructors. The other instructor i go to a lot, while good, rarely adventures outside the level 1 requirements. I do like the idea of doing similar workouts because I find it important to hit certain muscles continuously to get stronger. However, I tend to find her classes a bit boring just for the reason mentioned above. I am starting to wonder if 1.5 is better for me?

Success story

I started CP in mid April. At nearly 300 lbs, my goal was to help my mobility, strengthen my ankles after multiple surgeries and increase fitness activity. I started out with the 8/month membership and increased it to unlimited about a month in. Since then I've been going 3 days per week and will increase it to 4 days a week after July 4th.

I began noticing changes very soon after joining. Around the 2 week mark, I noticed my ankles were feeling stronger and walking up and down stairs was easier! Within the last couple of weeks I have noticed other changes. I went down a size in clothing, I noticed some muscle definition in my arms, and my cankles are gone. I have also noticed how exercises in class are becoming easier. One thing in particular is I couldn't put the straps around my feet and always needed help. Well, the last few weeks I have been able to do it by myself! 🎉 Last but not least i noticed last night that standing to cook dinner wasn't painful whereas before it hurt to stand for any length of time because my big belly hurt my back.

During this journey I have been tracking my food intake which I'm sure has helped.

I absolutely love CP and am thankful I made the decision to become a member!!

Opening a new CP

Has anyone opened up a new CP? I may be moving to a smallish town that has very limited locations for pilates. I am curious about what it would take to open one?

FMLA

Can anyone guide me on FMLA. My supervisor and I can't agree on a reasonable accommodation. This is excerbating my medical condition, and I think it's best to go on FMLA until this is resolved.

Instructor missed classes

I've been a member for right around a month. Since then, the instructor was late, and two missed their classes. Is this normal for instructors to do this? I understand life happens and it's possible, but this seems like a lot in just a month.
