I keep seeing her posting sad stuff but I don’t know if Im missing what’s going on or if she’s just posting these weird fishing posts ?

I’m interested in making a diamond quilt like the ones pictured here. They use different techniques, some use triangle stitched together to form the diamond and others use templates. Does anyone with experience making these quilts have any recommendations for what might be an easier approach?

I don’t think a paper template would work well for me, I’m still a beginner and often struggle with cutting. I am willing to purchase an acrylic template if that’s the best route.I do already have a 60° triangle ruler, but I haven’t used it before.
