My friend (UK citizen) is moving to US with her UK husband. Husband will be on an R1 visa. Spouse will be on R2 dependent which does not allow employment.

Can spouse work during summer visits (1-2 months) in the UK? Since she is only working when in the UK? Or does this violate the visa terms?

We are applying to register our children as citizens soon (father is citizen by descent). We are supposed to select referees that have known them 3 years. We can’t remember exactly when we met the people we are asking, but we know it was sometime around August 2023. Does it matter if we don’t know the exact date? Or can we apply at the beginning of August and count it good?
