Yes! Wonderland 2018

Continuing my journey through the history of TJPW and just finished Wonderland from 2018. What a great card. Definitely essential viewing. A perfect measuring point for the promotion up to that point. They spent a few months building up several storylines to culminate at this event. It feels like it was the first time they were juggling a few plots into one big climax. The extra video production really added to the whole product. Maki seemed to take a step up with the Riho match. I always felt like Marika never got a big push, so it was nice to see her get some shine. The UpUp girls are getting better (but I was a little shocked to see that Raku was the first one to really step out. She was doing "signature" moves less than 3 months after her debut) The first era of Yuki Aino closed with Sayuri stepping into her place, but the second opened as she debuted next to her sister. Plus four new trainees... I wonder how Kyo will do in the future.
