The saber920 of doom and despair

Probably the bost cursed plane I have, the stock front end kept exploding due to the shitty motor mount which started vibrating after the second flight . I got sick of fixing this so I cut off the front end and 3d printed this plastic thing which I could screw the motor to. Added Some barbecue skeelers to stiffen the front as well. The piece of electrical tape on the prop also balances it for some reason. Has worked great so far. This plane has one purpose in my fleet, it serves as my super windy day flyer, it handles it very well and even if you crash who cares not like you can make it any uglier. Flies suprisingly well for how hideous it is it will still hover knife edge and all

The electro streak is a lot of fun

Love the woosh noises it makes as well, have been super happy with this plane so far one of the smoothest and most locked in planes I have flown, and super easy to hand launch as well

The umx ultrix is insane

So I have been flying FPV quads for like 8 years and fixed wing planes for 2 years now, and I own a lot of larger more “proper” models. I recently bought a 4in 1 so I could use my radiomaster with an electro streak and decided fuck it why not pick up an ultrix as well as I have heard good things about them online.

But holy crap I was not expecting it to be this fun. The amount of control you have over this plane is insane, meaning you can fly it in the smallest of areas and in close proximity to objects. I never thought i could do inverted high alpha so easily around a tiny tree in my front yard. It also hovers very well and the crazy flat spins never get old. And it’s durable, battery life is great + cheap to run like I can’t really think of any downsides it even handles wind okay????

I have been addicted to flying this thing the past week, it’s actually bad my bigger planes are getting neglected lol. I am also using Gemfan 65mm props and they fly great and are a lot more durable

TLDR go buy a umx ultrix it’s the most fun you will ever have and you will not regret it

I recently picked up a umx ultrix and can not for the life of me get it to bind/respond. I have done the correct process of turning on plane, flipping upside down, waiting for led to blink blue, then binding my tx15 with radiomaster 4in 1. I am using dsm, auto, and have tried 22 and 11ms.

It says the fast blue led suggests throttle not at -100% but I have checked and it is, I have also tried lowering throttle to -130% and setting both -100 and -130 throttle cuts

Weirdly enough I am hearing telemetry lost and recovered call-outs on my transmitter so I assume they may be communicating at least somewhat? How do I fix this? Any help would be great

Meant to say ultrix in title lol

I am very fed up with this. I have tried updating the external module firmware. I am on latest release of edge tx. I am selecting dsm2 mode on external rf and have tried both dsmx and dsm2. I have tried using both the bind button on reciever and bind plug. I am powering on reciever and it is blinking and then pressing bind on the radio. At a loss here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
